Days N Daze

Days N Daze

Days N’ Daze are the thrash-grass pioneers, a folk punk quartet hailing from Houston, Texas.

Based in Houston, Texas, Days N’ Daze was formed by Whitney Flynn (Vocals, Trumpet, Guitar) and Jesse Sendejas (Vocals, Guitar, Banjo, Mandolin, Bass) as a duo in 2008. The band currently consists of Flynn and Sendejas, along with Geoff Bell (Gutbucket) and Meagan Meloncon (Washboard).

Days N’ Daze have pioneered a unique sub-genre of folk punk, best described thrash-grass. Building an ever growing following from their modest debut in the underground punk scenes of the Southern United States, Days N’ Daze ability to meld genres and connect with their audience, whom they always refer to as their friends, has lead them to the forefront of diy punk.

Combining a folk punk ethos with traditional bluegrass musical elements, and song structures often found in thrash punk, the band plays energetic and emotive folk punk anthems. With a writing style that reflects a brutal honesty with respects to the personal and political, Days N’ Daze write and perform timely songs that connect to our personal struggles, and the political state of the world we coexist in.

With an almost constant schedule of touring, most recently, Days N’ Daze have played across the United States, Canada, and Europe, and have toured alongside punk rock mainstays Leftover Crack.

While enjoying a undeniable popularity within the diy punk scene, Days N’ Daze continue to embrace the DIY ethic by recording, and promoting their music.

Following up on a litany of splits, with bands including Rail Yard Ghosts, Broken Bow, and Australia’s Night Gaunts, Days N’ Daze most recent release, Crustfall, is their 7th full length album, and the first since the highly acclaimed 2013 release of Rogue Taxidermy.

Crustfall, released digitally on March 23, 2017 – becomes available on Vinyl, Cassette and CD from All We’ve Got Records in the summer of 2017.
